Orange Was Never in Our Color Palette (Until Now)

A CONVERSATION WITH HARRIET FITZPATRICK

Today, January 27th, we're launching online at Ulta Beauty.

When I first started My Neighbor's Co, I had a very clear vision of what we would and wouldn't be. We'd stay small, stay local, stay true to the farms and the hands that grew our ingredients. We'd never compromise on quality for scale.

But here's the thing about building a business with intention: sometimes the right opportunity challenges everything you thought you knew about your own boundaries.

Today, January 27th, we're launching online at Ulta Beauty.

Orange was never in our color palette, but now it is. And not because we're chasing scale for the sake of it, but because this partnership actually aligns with everything we've been trying to do: make regeneratively farmed skincare accessible to more people. Without having it mass produced by someone else who can't name the farms they get their tallow from.

I met the Ulta buyer at Beauty Independent's BITE event last August while I was very pregnant, waddling around with samples and probably talking too fast about soil health, animal husbandry, and tallow. I didn't think much would come of it, honestly. But sometimes showing up and telling your story - even when you're sweating through your dress and questioning every life choice - actually works.

This launch means that anyone in America can now buy My Neighbor's Co while they earn Ulta Rewards points, and in doing so, support real Hudson Valley farmers in the process. Our products ship directly from us to your door, so there's no double shipping, less waste, fewer miles.

We've been able to scale in a way that keeps our farmers happy and our products made by us, in-house, right here in the Hudson Valley. We're proving that transparency, regeneration, and community aren't niche ideals reserved for people who shop at farmers markets. They're the future of what beauty can be.

So yeah, orange is in our color palette now. And I couldn't be more proud of what that represents.

Shop the collection online at Ulta Beauty starting today. Skip the plastic bag. Support the farmers. Choose your skin, the land, and community.

Here's to doing things differently.

Your Neighbor,

— Harri
